Rev. Gregory D. Thompson, Jr.

Rev. Gregory D. Thompson, Jr., was born in Miami, FL, and is a graduate of Miami Jackson Sr. High School. He continued his education at Miami Dade College and Jacksonville Seminary. Always feeling the call to service, he served nationally by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, and then locally as a Police officer for the City of Miami for 10 years. Pastor Thompson answered the ultimate call to service when he accepted Gods calling, and began preaching the Gospel. He has served as the Pastor of the New Harvest Missionary Baptist Church since 1999, where he is a prognosticator of the unadulterated Gospel. Under Pastor Thompson's leadership New Harvest has grown, spiritually, and numerically. He is a gifted teacher, always relating back to the everyday person. Pastor Thompson is a member of The African American Council of Christian Clergy (AACCC), where he serves as President; and is also a member of the Baptist Ministers Council. He is married to DaShonya Thompson, and they have three children, Javon, Ashley and Jayla.
